Just found this forum advertised whilst browsing Stereonet and thought..that’s for me 🙂

I look forward to learning and sharing info/ideas about renewable energy and related stuff, occasionally.... I do get sidetracked.

We had a 4kW solar system installed on our home in 2012 and haven’t paid for electricity since then.

On the contrary, we were lucky to get the Premium Feed in Tariff before it was cut and have been getting paid instead.

It is due to run out in 2024 so it will be time to install the batteries then.

I’m quite interested to learn more about retrofitting a small hatch as an EV. My aim is for an EV Hot Hatch.
